You don't want your G-string to look cheap. That would be a bad reflection upon your self.
I like my G-string lingerie to be simple but naughty. And they must be black though I do own a few red ones. But if you wear a G-string in any other color you might as well be wearing panties or a thong. I also like the G-strings that you tie up at the sides. It adds a little tease to the production.
Lingerie G-strings come in assorted fabrics. I personally like the Italian nylon though a G-string made from Lycra is completely acceptable. If you feel comfortable in it - wear it.
Most people think that G-strings are only worn by strippers at a strip tease bar. That's not true. I wear G-strings all the time. And I'm not a stripper. I wear them under skirts, pants, dresses and tiny cut off jean shorts. I like the way G-string panties make me feel. They make me feel sexy and I like to feel sexy.
G-strings were probably one of the earliest forms of clothing. And not only that I read somewhere that the G-string was originally made for male genetalia. Boy how times have changed.
If you are not into G-strings because of the stripper connotations then wearing a cheeky little thong or a micro lacy pair of panties is almost as good. And men love G-strings and panties and thongs. The tinier the better. Don't believe me? Just google 'used panties for sale' and see how many results you get.
